The Universal Curette (Fig. 17S/18S – McCall, Distal) is a precision periodontal hand instrument designed for both supragingival and subgingival scaling, as well as root planing on distal surfaces of posterior teeth. It features a semi-circular working blade with two cutting edges and a rounded toe, enabling safe and effective adaptation to all tooth surfaces.
