The Mini Five Curette (Fig. 11/12 – Gracey 3M) is a precision periodontal hand instrument designed for subgingival scaling and root planing on the mesial surfaces of posterior teeth, particularly molars. It is a modified version of the Gracey 11/12 curette, featuring a shortened blade, reduced shank diameter, and miniaturized working end to improve access in deep, narrow periodontal pockets and confined interproximal areas.
