The Gracey Curette (Fig. 15/16 – Mesial) is a precision periodontal hand instrument designed for subgingival scaling and root planing on the mesial surfaces of posterior teeth, particularly molars. It features an extended and specially angulated terminal shank with a single-ended working blade that allows enhanced access to deep mesial root surfaces and furcation areas.
This instrument is used for:
- Subgingival scaling on mesial surfaces of posterior teeth
